SHE’S AN AMATEUR ATHLETE
Alica is a German sprinter and hurdler who has become well known for her stunning appearance and hard training. She was part of the German 4X400 relay team in the 2024 World Athletics Championships and the 2024 Olympics. She is yet to win an Olympic medal. As an amateur, she has needed to make ends meet by modeling and representing Hugo Boss. She also has over 7 million followers from Instagram and TikTok.
Her personal bests include:
- 100 meters – 11.84
- 200 meters – 24.00
- 300 meters – 37.46
- 400 meters – 52.07
- 600 meters – 1.24.88
- 800 meters – 2.05.22
- 400 meters hurdles – 1.00.01
- 4×400 meters relay – 3.25.90
She has become known as “The world’s sexiest athlete”. She is 5’9″ tall and weights 121 pounds. She appreciates the attention but says that her focus is on her athletic performance.
In this video, Alica is wnning the 400 meter German Athletics Champonship earlier this year.
Here is a fun race between Alica and German star footballer (soccer player) Mats Hummels.
ALICA’S TRAINING
Alica currently has decided to focus on 800 meters. She is training vigorously. She is primarily doing interval sprints, but strength building is 30% of her workout routine, which includes:
- Squats
- Dead lifts
- Power cleans
- Hip thrusts with weight resistance
- Calf raises – both legs and separate legs
- Thigh abductors and adductors
- Bench presses
- Seated rows
- Dumbbell lateral raises and front raises
- Dumbbell curls, standing and inclined
This 5 minute video shows her workout routines. The audio is in German, but the workout being done is easily followed.
ALICA’S NUTRITION
Alica eats intuitively, listens to her body and reduces her meat consumption. She keeps snacks on hand, such as protein bars and electrolytes. She enjoys:
- Plant based protein shakes
- Cheribundi juice – to help with sleep and to reduce cramping
- Fresh smoked turkey breast
- Starkist tuna creations
- Pink salmon, skinless and boneless
- Whole grain Pepperidge Farm bread
- Pepperidge Farm brown sugar cinnamon bread
- Manuka honey – to be added to tea
She takes supplements – zinc and magnesium, plus daily vitamins. She drinks energy aminos before training and recovery aminos after. Also, after training she likes protein drinks and L-glutamine for recovery. She likes to take Tupperware containers with carrot cake or banana bread when she leaves her house for lengthy traiining.
This 10 minute video is from a series called “What I eat in a day”. Alica is again speaking primarily in German, but the food she prepares may be of interest to anyone.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Alica Schmidt is a dedicated track and field athlete who just happens to look like this. See below.
Thus, this post is different from prior ones of mine that featured beautiful women who worked hard to stay fit, such as:
The difference is that Alica is an athlete who has aspirations for the Olympics. She does grueling training almost every day. She takes pride in her achievements and wants to push herself harder to set new records. She is tall and runs with a long stride. She knows that she has lots of competition and wants to train harder than the others.
She will most likely be thought of by most of us as a stunningly beautiful lady who runs well. But her goals are quite different and she willingly works hard and practices ultimate physical fitness.

Let’s stay active!
Alica Schmidt’s journey is such a great reminder that hard work and dedication are at the core of true success. It’s easy to get caught up in her stunning appearance, but the real story is her relentless focus on training and performance. I admire how she balances being an athlete, a model, and a social media influencer—each of those roles requires serious commitment. It makes me wonder how much social media has changed the way we view athletes. Do you think it adds pressure, or does it just show another side of their hard work?
Thanks for adding to my post, Zachary! If Alica has mirrors, she knows that she is beautiful. She has chosen the life of an athlete. She funds this by modeling for Hugo Boss and by appealing to people on Instagram and TikTok. In my opinion, she compares very favorably to many women who want nothing but social media exposure. She challenges her body and her energy. She sweats and works out to exhaustion at times. Being the “world’s sexiest athlete” has not made her lazy and comfortable. She is busy training for the 800 meters race in the next Olympic games.
