I have been a customer of Dick’s Sporting Goods for several decades. My selections have been:
- Tennis racquets and accessories – balls, grips, racquet stringing, shoes, sweat bands
- Golf clubs – complete sets, balls, several putters, bags, wedges, shoes, hats
- Fitness equipment – resistance bands, dumbbells, shoes for running
- Sportswear – Polo shirts, shorts, pants
It was fun to enter a store and then walk around to see what I might need. I knew that the quality and inventory would be to my liking.
It wasn’t until I recently became an associate that I realized that Dick’s Sporting Goods offered discounts and special sales on occasion.
I have since found that Online shopping with DSG is as fun as visiting a store. I can review their wide inventory and check on any specials that may be running.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Dck’s Sporting Goods is the largest sporting goods merchant in the United States. They are well known as the shopping place for pro athletes, amateurs and those who simply enjoy sports at any level – team sports or individual sports.
DSG is also noted for their sense of community and good citizenship. Since 2014, they have donated $80 million to support young athletes. One out of every 21 public schools has received funding for sports programs through DSG.
Despite once being known for hunting gear, DSG has eliminated automatic weapons, cut back severely on all guns and raised the age for buying firearms and ammunition from 18 to 21.
I have always bought with confidence from Dick’s Sporting Goods. They well deserve their excellent reputation!
