I am an affiliate marketer and an associate of Amazon. This means that I write articles that are generally consistent with my website subject matter, fitness through home workouts. An important part of my duties as an associate is to promote relevant items, especially when they are discounted.
Let me begin with a description of affiliate marketing. This is a performance-based business to consumer model where marketers (or affiliates) earn commissions by promoting a company’s products or services, using unique tracking links. This process is thoroughly explained in my upper menu – “BECOME AN AFFILIATE MARKETER”. The simple diagram below will also show how this works (though a suit and briefcase are not needed as we work from home in front of a computer).
Amazon is an ideal company with which to associate. They simplify this linking process and have just about any product one may want. Their delivery is fast and their service is excellent. Here is one of my recent experiences – I had visited a doctor and had found that I needed an over- the- counter type of medicine. I asked the nurse for her recommended pharmacy and was told that she recommended Amazon for speed of delivery and good prices.

My choice of product categories today will be “Sports and Outdoors”, which is closest to my field of interest and website. Bear in mind that the “Big Spring Sale” does not require Prime membership as do other Amazon specials. Still, Prime membership is always a valuable way to participate.
